Bildad Says Man Is Inferior

1 Then Bildad the Shuhite ^{▼▼ Lit answered and said}answered, 2 ^b“Dominion and awe ^{▼▼ Lit are with Him}belong to Him
Who establishes peace in ^dHis heights.
3 “Is there any number to ^eHis troops?
And upon whom does His light not rise?
4 “How then can a man be ^fjust with God?
Or how can he be ^gclean who is born of woman?
5 “If even ^hthe moon has no brightness
And the ⁱstars are not pure in His sight,
6 How much less ^jman, that ^kmaggot,
And the son of man, that worm!”
